Day 27.
She looks well to how things go in her household, and the bread of idleness (gossip, discontent, and self-pity) she will not eat. [I Tim. 5:14; Tit. 2:5.] (Proverbs 31:27 AMPC)

In the two scriptural references above, you have been assigned the primary responsibility of guiding and keeping your home.

1 Timothy 5:14
[14] I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, GUIDE THE HOUSE, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

Titus 2:5
[5] To be discreet, chaste, KEEPERS AT HOME, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

You are called, graced, equipped, and designed to build your home. That’s what wise women do (Proverbs 14:1)
[1] Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.). Only a woman lacking in wisdom and understanding of God’s order and structure for the family will debate this and not pay attention to avoid doing the things that destroys the home front.

Look well to how things go in your home. Be forward thinking. Things can always be better. The largest room on earth is not the master bedroom, but the room for improvements. The atmosphere of your home can be happier, more peaceful and more loving. Pay attention to this.

Gossip, discontentment, self-pity, nagging, complaining, dishonour, and disorder are common home killers. They are sweet to the flesh, but poison to your home. Don’t eat them, don’t indulge in them. And don’t bring people who do so into your home. They desecrate the atmosphere and make it non-conducive for divine manifestations.

Building your home with GOD in mind is a sure recipe for enjoying your marriage and building a strong family.
Begin to take steps towards achieving this. It is possible with GOD.
