Proverbs 3:29-30
[29] Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
[30] Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.

TPT Why would you hold a grudge in your heart toward your neighbor who lives right next door? And why would you quarrel with those who have done nothing wrong to you? Is that a chip on your shoulder?

Is being quarrelsome a habit you need to deal with?

This is a call to learn to cohabit peacefully with people; those you live with under the same roof, and those who live in your neighbourhood. Don’t be a troublesome neighbour that is always the one that has something to shout and complain about. Don’t be quick to take offence at the slightest and don’t live your everyday life in vendetta.

AMPC Do not contrive or dig up or cultivate evil against your neighbor, who dwells trustingly and confidently beside you. Contend not with a man for no reason–when he has done you no wrong. [Rom. 12:18.]

Romans 12:18
[18] If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

People will always be people, and there will always be reasons to war, but you must keep growing and getting better at walking in love, and living in peace. Let your heart be large and yield to the Holy Spirit. He will always prompt you on the path of peaceful cohabitation.
