Day 34 Proverbial Exhortations

Proverbs 4:1-2
[1] Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
[2] For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

AMPC HEAR, MY sons, the instruction of a father, and pay attention in order to gain and to know intelligent discernment, comprehension, and interpretation [of spiritual matters]. For I give you good doctrine [what is to be received]; do not forsake my teaching.

Everything in life is a spiritual matter. Even the physical and intellectual things are governed by spiritual laws.

Maximising your father-son relationship will equip you to stay in charge of life. Life should not be happening to you, you should be happening to life.

Whatever-will-be-will-be should not be the order of your life, but whatever-GOD-has-willed should define your life’s experiences.

TPT Listen to my correction, my sons, for I speak to you as your father. Let discernment enter your heart and you will grow wise with the understanding I impart. My revelation-truth is a gift to you, so remain faithful to my instruction.

A father given to you by GOD will be the voice of GOD to You. Don’t despise their sayings!

NLT My children, listen when your father corrects you. Pay attention and learn good judgment, for I am giving you good guidance. Don’t turn away from my instructions.

MSG Listen, friends, to some fatherly advice; sit up and take notice so you’ll know how to live. I’m giving you good counsel; don’t let it go in one ear and out the other.
