Jonah 4:10-11
[10] Then said the Lord, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night: [11] And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than six score thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?GOD cares for People!
He cares for You in particular!
In the text above the Lord used a plant (gourd) to illustrate His love for people. Prophet Jonah was a disgruntled servant of GOD; he felt that the people of Nineveh deserved to perish, but GOD thought differently!
The Goodness of GOD seems incredible for the human mind to comprehend- how could GOD be so merciful! This is why We preach the Gospel: the almost too-good-to-be-true message of the Love of GOD to the world!
The Lord banks on Us to tell people how much He cares for them, and We must not be like Jonah. We must gladly, urgently and dutifully tell the world about Jesus – the expression of the Love of GOD to the world!
Remember also, that He cares for You too!
Every little detail of Your life matters to Him!
Therefore, expect Good things from Him today!
Expect Incredible Possibilities!
Cast all Your cares upon Him because He cares for You (1 Peter 5:7) And ALWAYS remember to Tell somebody about the Love of GOD – Preach!
