GOD’S WAY OF PROSPERITY

God’s way of Prosperity

Prosperity is not a man-made idea; it is the will of God. God’s way of prosperity is that we prosper in every aspect of our lives: spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially. However, prosperity is not limited to money. As a matter of fact, the lowest form of wealth is cash.
Isaiah 26:3 says,
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
True prosperity begins with trust in God. When a person’s heart is fixed on God, He keeps them in a place of peace and provision. Prosperity flows from divine assignment; it is not just financial abundance.

What Is Prosperity?

Prosperity is having more than enough to do the will of God per time.
It means having the resources, health, wisdom, and strength to fulfil God’s purpose for your life.
John 3:34 reminds us,
“For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.”
At any time you fall short of what is required to accomplish God’s will, you are not prospering. Prosperity is therefore assignment-determined, it varies based on God’s purpose for your life. To prosper is to never be stranded.

Delight in the Will of God

Hebrews 10:7 (KJV) says,
“Then said I, Lo, I come in the volume of the book it is written of me, to do thy will, O God.”
Prosperity begins with a delight in the will of God. Longevity, divine escape, health, and peace are all part of God’s way of prosperity. You need a sound mind, a healthy body, and daily provision to do the will of God effectively.

Prosperity and Honour in Work

1 Timothy 6:1 (KJV) says,
“Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.”
You will carry yourself with honour in your place of work if you are well taught. There are three levels one can occupy while working- Founder, Funded, and Staff, but each of them requires diligence and character.
Romans 13:7 reminds us,
“Render therefore to all their dues: custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.”
Your bad character can cost you prosperity. Honour your leaders, employers, and those in authority. Humility and integrity sustain prosperity. There is dignity in labour and you can always do honest work.

The Blessing of Work

Matthew 6:25- 28 (KJV) says,
“Behold the fowls of the air… yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Even the birds of the air are provided for, yet they do not worry or toil anxiously. God provides for those who trust Him. However, God expects us to be diligent.
2 Thessalonians 3:10–12 (KJV) warns,
“If any would not work, neither should he eat… with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.”
Work is part of God’s system of provision. When you labour with your hands and mind, you position yourself for divine increase.
The Prosperity of the Righteous
Psalm 112:1–3 (KJV) declares,
“Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD… Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever.”
Reverence for God includes reverence for His work. There is no prosperity in idleness. Prosperity flows from consistent, faithful labour inspired by righteousness.
Ephesians 4:28 (KJV) further says,
“Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.”
Working honestly is not just a moral act; it’s an act of obedience to God’s word. Through work, God empowers you to meet your needs and bless others.

Conclusion

To walk in God’s way of prosperity, you must:
•Trust God as your ultimate source.
•Delight in doing His will.
•Work diligently and honourably.
•Maintain a sound mind and healthy body.
• Recognise that prosperity is about purpose, not possessions.

When you align your heart with God’s will, He ensures that you always have more than enough to fulfil your divine assignment. Remember, prosperity is not about having cash. It means never being stranded in God’s purpose.
