Day 25 – Proverbs 31 In 31 Days

Day 25.
Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]! (Proverbs 31:25 AMPC)

Woman be strong! A lot lies on your shoulders as a woman and you cannot afford to have moments of weakness. When we are weak spiritually, the devil strikes. But when we clothe ourselves with strength, we are able to resist him.

When we are weak emotionally, we become susceptible to being abused and exploited. But when we are emotionally strong, we are able to cultivate healthy relationships with a correct understanding of our self-worth.

When we are weak physically, we get stuck in the realm of dreams and visions, execution and performance will become impossible.

So Woman, strive and contend for your strength!

There is a supernatural provision of GOD for strength. You can pray for it. See Ephesians 3:16, Colossians 1:11.

You can also feed for strength. When you prioritise your bible reading and fellowship with GOD, you wax stronger spiritually. When you expose your mind to wholesome content and associations, you wax stronger emotionally and intellectually. When you treat your body right, you preserve your physical strength.

As you hold on to strength, lay hold on dignity too. There is such a thing as the dignity of womanhood. Preserve yours. Carry yourself and conduct your life in a way that makes you worthy of honour and respect. Practice composure and maintaining your decorum in your response to life and interactions with people. The way you present yourself in your speech, actions and lifestyle is how people and things will respond to you. Esteem yourself highly but not more highly than how GOD esteems you. Be careful for pride.

With strength and dignity, don’t nurse secret fears. There is nothing to fear about the future. With GOD, your lot is maintained. To live free from fear, live a prepared life. Pray preemptive prayers and put your trust in GOD.

Don’t ever let the devil steal your joy. Mature from deriving your happiness from things, people and situations. Let your Joy be the Joy of the Holy Ghost. Constant and unaffected. You deserve to live a joyful life, walking into each day and season with confidence, strength, security and dignity
